Who we are

Friendly POS, a Friendly Web Designs company, is based in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. This policy covers this website and the Friendly POS apps. Questions go to privacy@friendlypos.com or (989) 555-0142.

What this website collects

Only what you type into our forms: your name, email, phone, business name and type, and any notes. When you send a form we also save the date, your IP address, your browser type and the exact wording you agreed to, so we have a record of your consent.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses no advertising, analytics or social-media cookies, and no tracking pixels. We don’t follow you across other sites. If that ever changes, we’ll update this page first and respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals.

Calls, texts and email

If you ask for a demo or create an account, we may call or email you about that request. We never text you and never use autodialed or prerecorded calls. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe, and we honor it right away.

Selling and sharing

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for targeted advertising. That applies to you and to your guests.

What we collect

Business details, the people you add to your team, your sales and menu, and guest info you collect (like an email for a receipt). Card numbers are handled by Stripe — Friendly never stores them.

How we use it

To run your account, process orders, send the emails you turn on, provide support, and improve Friendly. We don’t sell your data or your guests’ data.

Who we share it with

Only the partners needed to run your business: Stripe (payments), your delivery, tax, payroll and accounting connections, and our hosting and email providers.

Your guests’ choices

Guests can unsubscribe from marketing in one tap, ask for their data, or ask us to delete it. Order emails are not marketing.

Keeping it safe

Encryption in transit and at rest, two-step sign-in, activity logs on every money action, and limited staff access that you can see.

Keeping and deleting

We keep records as long as your account is open and as required for taxes and payments. You can export everything any time. Demo and partner requests that don’t become customers are deleted after two years.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to fix or delete it, or tell us not to sell or share it. Use the form below or email privacy@friendlypos.com. We confirm it’s you by email, then answer within 45 days. Someone you authorize can ask for you. If we say no, reply and we’ll review it again. Using your rights never changes your price or service.

Children

Friendly is a tool for businesses. This website isn’t meant for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child sent us information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We post every change here with a new effective date. If a change matters for your account, we email the account owner before it takes effect.
